This carefully constructed miscellany
of concrete, wood, plaster
nails, pipes and wire
finished

To be finished
is but to start
take the miscellany
of God's gifts
of mind, will and talent
to carefully construct
a foundation of love
walls of safety and haven
roofed with the canopy
of God's great energy

A castle of your dreams
a fortress from the world
a hospice, a retreat for weariness
the fountainhead
a home

And God said
let there be love
and there was home
let house be home
