LAY FORMATION — Presenter Rev. Mick Fleming, CSsR, led a session on understanding holy orders at a recent Lay Formation weekend held at Queen’s House of Retreats. The two-year Lay Formation program offered in Saskatoon includes three streams: diocesan, eparchial and aboriginal. Lay Formation participants spend time deepening their relationship with God by increasing their prayer life, learning more about the faith and experiencing Christian community. Participants will wind up the year in June, with the Year II eparchial missioning to be held June 6 at Sts. Peter and Paul Parish, and the diocesan missioning to be held June 7 at the Cathedral of the Holy Family. Applications are now being accepted for the diocesan Lay Formation program that begins in September.
