A family journey

Discovering Trinity in Disability by Myroslaw Tataryn and Maria Truchan-Tataryn is the story of parents who have refused to allow their daughters and themselves to be defined, disparaged and disappeared by disability as deviance. John Thompson reviews.

Serving many roles

This is a milestone year for Rev. Daniel Muyres, OSB, who has served as a priest in the Muenster district for 54 years, and 12 years as a chaplain at the hospital in Humboldt, Sask. The versatile monk who enjoys outdoor labour will be retiring from the diocese as a pastor and celebrating 60 years of profession as a Benedictine monk.

Honest conversations

Over the past generation, no one has written more deeply and spoken more widely about the contours of North American faith and spirituality than Phyllis Tickle. At 81 and facing a cancer diagnosis, she is working on her own final chapter.
